Ellerslie Village stalwart Pastrami & Rye has been delighting customers since first opening its doors back in 2016 and rather than rest on their laurels, the bowtie and flat cap-wearing team's creativity just keeps on coming.
This coffee shop, deli and eatery deals in superb American-deli-style sandwiches such as the Reuben, The Cuban, Crunchy Chicken with gravy to dip, the Roast Beef French Dip, and of course, the eponymous Pastrami On Rye to name but a few, all so generously loaded your eyes will be popping.
Pull up a pew at the marble bar and watch the passionate crew create a customised sammie of your dreams in the buzzing kitchen, to eat in or take away. Order a coffee by Coffee Supreme or choose one of the many juices on offer and you're good to go.
From cabinets filled with freshly baked bread, meats, cheeses and sandwiches to-go and delicious salads to pastries and sweet treats all lovingly baked in-house, there's no surprise that this is one of the best spots for lunch in Ellerslie.
