The Verdict

For healthy (and absolutely delicious) meal, look no further than Ponsonby-newcomer Pintu. The eatery specialises in sandwiches and salads, giving you the option to create your own combination or choose from the carefully created menu. There's something for everyone with the menu offering all the goodies: Angus beef, pulled chicken, prawn, halloumi and more! Pintu also has a mouth-watering breakfast menu with cacao muesli, coconut chia pudding and ricotta hotcakes all available for the taking.

Funny that the first thing I noticed about Kinfolk had little to do with the actual food—rather, it was the artwork on the back wall depicting three women on lilos, eating pasta. I like this place already, had been my immediate thought.
