The Verdict
Established in 1986, it’s fair to say Ponsonby Road’s Prego has stood the test of time. The Italian restaurant is like an old friend – it’s faithful, reliable and you can always count on Prego for a good time. If you haven’t already, make sure you try one of Prego’s signature pizzas or their classic zuppa di pesce seafood soup. Come summer, you’ll find us enjoying a long lunch in the afternoon sun of the gorgeous courtyard.
