Introducing Point Chev’s newest kid on the block, Spilt Milk! Tucked away in an arcade on Great North Road, you’ll want to make the bright and light café your new local. It’s evident the décor has been crafted with love. You’ll find polished concrete floors, homely wooden chairs and banquet seating running down the length of the space. There’s also a feature wall starring wooden panels that have been carefully hand-sanded, painted and arranged to create a tile-effect. The menu focuses on a breakfast with a twist—there are Asian and Vietnamese influence. As for the drinks, you’ll be sipping on The United Blend coffee and Six Barrel Soda Co’s refreshing range. They also have ‘tonic coffee’ on offer—a trend originating in New York where ice-cold coffee is served with tonic water which they are keen to see hit our shores.
It opens its doors to the public on August 1st.
