The Verdict
Queenstown's beloved taco joint, Taco Medic, has landed in Ponsonby. Described as the country's first craft taqueria and with two successful stores already under its belt, this tasty new venture comes to us courtesy of cousins Anthony Wilkins and Robbie McGillivray, who fell in love with Mexican cuisine while on a surfing holiday in Puerto Escondido.
Found at 130 Ponsonby Road, these tacos are anything but average–handcrafted daily and filled with the freshest, healthiest, and most amazing flavour combos. And that's not all, they also have nachos and mouthwatering sides to go with, plus the promise of $5 Taco Tuesdays... oh, and let's not forget that everything on the menu is entirely GLUTEN-FREE. Yes, yes, yes.
