The Verdict
An oldie but a goodie, The Empire has been around since 1875 so they’re guaranteed to know a thing or two about being a local watering hole. Situated on Victoria Street West, The Empire plays host to a number of gigs, quiz nights and open mic evenings. On the food front there’s the Empire Staples— nachos, lamb gnocchi and fettucine, or opt for couple of tasty small plates and a pizza or two.
