Pancakes, step aside, because The Wafflers are finally in town, bringing you deliriously delicious Korean-style Croffles and Waffles.

In case you didn't get the memo, the Croffle, a mix between a croissant and a waffle, may be your newest obsession. When we tell you that first bite is melt-in-your-mouth, sweet, creamy, crunchy glorious heaven on earth… we’re not kidding. They’ve got heaps of flavours to choose from such as oreo, strawberry, green tea or tiramisu.

Not to mention their classic waffle is something that simply can’t be ignored—stuffed to the brim with some delicious toppings from Nutella banana, Lotus biscoff, mango and more.

A little backstory—the brother-sister duo behind The Wafflers, Rok and Min, started out trialling recipes and flavours at numerous markets across Auckland in 2021. After sharing their childhood favourite Korean dessert with the locals, they were a big hit. From sold-out waffle batches to crowds of returning customers, their roaring success has led them to set up shop on O’Connell Street- score.

Keep an eye out for these folks, as more Korean sweet treats are on the horizon and we’re already drooling.
