The Verdict
First opening in 1968, it’s fair to say Tony’s Lorne Street has stood the test of time. Specialising in steak and seafood, the restaurant is all about hearty, honest tucker. Here you’ll find dishes such as free-range pork belly, lamb shank, spag bol and a generous seafood platter. There’s also a steak menu featuring all your fave cuts topped with your choice of sauce. The restaurant boasts brick walls, wooden fittings and interesting décor—including taxidermy and delftware plates—making it a cosy, homely dining experience.
