Remember that feeling of making tracks to Sydney’s International Airport and checking if your passport is tucked away safely in your bag for the fifth time and all of your creams are under 100 grams? Well, get ready for those feels again because, after a long two-year hiatus, daily Virgin Australia flights to Bali (Denpasar) from Sydney are officially back.

From Wednesday, June 15, you can soar through the skies and head to the jewel of Indonesia's acapalegio for a steal. Virgin Australia Flights from Sydney to Bali—with a short 30-minute refuel in Darwin—are up for grabs for as low as $309 for economy one-way and $739 in Business Class one-way—if you’ve promised yourself you'd fly business class one day, this is your sign.

Virgin Australia's Public Affairs and Content Advisor Lauren Gaynor says the team are so excited to be getting Australians back to beautiful Bali and the 30-minute Darwin refuel is only temporary, "We had a choice to reduce the number of passengers we would carry on our flights to conserve fuel, or to make a stopover in Darwin to refuel and have everyone who had booked arrive in Bali on schedule. To make sure everyone gets to Bali, we chose to refuel."

Virgin Australia is actively working with local airports and authorities on a solution but in the meantime, if you've missed Bali's balmy nights, sprawling turquoise vistas and unparalleled warm hospitality,  it means that sweet, sweet pool-side cocktail is closer than you think.

If you're ready to jet—you don't need to tell us twice—and looking for the best places to eat, drink, stay and play in Bali, we have you covered here. Plus, in case your friends and fam on the Gold Coast missed it, you can now fly direct from the Gold Coast with Virgin Australia.
