A table filled with Crinitis' Christmas Feast

If you’ve been yearning for an Italian summer holiday or just can’t say no to an authentic Italian feast, we’re certain you’ve heard of Criniti’s before. If not, let us introduce you. Think of the tastiest hand-stretched authentic Italian pizza you’ve ever had, and then extend it by up to two metres, and you have Criniti’s. The smell alone will transport you to the heart of Italy as you bask in all of their pizza, pasta and antipasti glory. And for those who missed out on a summer in Italy this year, Criniti is putting on a series of Christmas and NYE banquets sure to make your summery Italian dreams a reality.

Kicking off the Christmas feasts early, Criniti’s four-hour long banquets run from 24 to 26 December (yep, including Christmas Day) and feature a four-course sharing menu alongside complimentary Chandon sparkling for the table. Combining Criniti’s favourites with dishes inspired by a modern Australian Christmas spread, you’ll find everything from popcorn prawns with chili aioli to spaghetti marinara with mussels, calamari, vongole and prawns and one metre long wood-fired pizzas on the menu. The four-course banquet will only set you back $89pp and ends with your choice of tiramisu with mascarpone cream, espresso coffee and chocolate or ricotta cheesecake. Did someone say Christmas food coma? With three locations across Sydney—Darling Harbour, Castle Hill and Wetherill Park—as well as one in Newcastle, you'll want to book in at your closest location stat.

If your Christmas Day dining plans with your in-laws are impossible to get out of, don’t stress about missing out—Criniti’s is also hosting an all Italian New Year’s Eve party with a feast to match. Party well into the late hours of the night like a true Italian with the five-course banquet which includes a range of dishes such as zucchini flowers with goats cheese and mascarpone cream and Italian garlic prawns served in a hot pan of Napoli sauce. Oh, and make sure to leave room for the dessert platter featuring cannoli, tiramisu and cheesecake, because who wants to choose just one.

The three-hour flowing drinks package will keep the party rolling with wine, beer and Chandon Brut NV, as well as a complimentary glass of Chandon sparkling and cello shots for the whole table on arrival.

At $179pp, the only downside to this deal is the chances of waking up hangover-free on New Years Day are very slim. Book your table here.
