Frequenters of Queensbridge Square, Parramatta Square and the AFLW are in for a delicious surprise this September.
To the delight of Melburnians and Sydneysiders, Westinghouse is back on its mission to serve free food to hungry crowds. Off the back of its whirlwind Messina partnership, Westinghouse has entered the savoury game by recruiting Mrs Mac’s to create a limited-edition pie flavour.
Packed with flavour and feel good memories of primary school canteen orders or family dinners of the past—Mrs Mac's flavour is perfect for this time of month too, bringing the best of Sunday roast together with a roasted chicken and veg pie.
This tasty concoction aims to encourage pie connoisseurs to cook up their own version of the beloved pastry using leftovers found in your fridge—a 564L French door fridge, to be exact—and bake to perfection in your built in Australia oven.
There’s nothing more Australian than pies and football, so when you head to RSEA Park to watch St Kilda take on the Sydney Swans, swing by the Westinghouse x Mrs Mac’s pop-up to snag your free pie.
The staff handing out the delectable pies are keen to help feed your belly, stocked with plenty of sauce options to drown your pie however you fancy.
What a glorious time to be living Down Under.
