LA Travel Diaries: Funky Tunes And Soaring Sips
From Urban List Travel Editor, Sophie Oddo
"In 2024, I spent three months living in LA, and one of the standout recommendations came from my roommate—a long-time local who insisted I check out the Broken Shaker rooftop bar at Freehand."
"When my sister visited, we were on the hunt for a spot with great vibes and cocktails to kick off the night before heading to a concert at Dodger Stadium.
Broken Shaker delivered. Perched high above the gritty streets of Downtown LA, the rooftop had a vibrant energy—funky tunes, a stunning city skyline, and some seriously good margaritas.
It’s the kind of place that feels effortlessly cool, the perfect pre-show spot. If you’re ever in LA, it definitely deserves a place on your rooftop hitlist."
