Here’s Why The New Season Of Nine Perfect Strangers Is The Mind-Bending Escape You Need

By

After grinding 9 to 5, there’s nothing more satisfying than kicking your feet up and diving headfirst into a hit TV show—especially a wildly addictive series that pulls you into another world.

Cult-favourite psychological thriller, Nine Perfect Strangers, is finally back for a second spine-tingling season—and it deserves top spot on your Prime watchlist.

With the first season based on Liane Moriarty’s best-selling 2018 novel of the same name, and originally premiering on Prime in 2021, this highly anticipated next installment offers more buried secrets, unsettling rituals and, of course, more hypnotic brilliance from Nicole Kidman.

The Aussie icon is back in full force as Masha Dmitrichenko, the mysterious wellness guru who lures a fresh set of strangers to a restorative luxury alpine retreat.

With expectations of meditation and spa-level healing, the guests quickly find themselves entangled in a deeper, darker web of confronting suppressed memories.

Meanwhile, Masha’s own unravelling past threatens to upend her fragile grip on control, infecting the well-being of everyone under her watch.

Nicole Kidman is joined by a star-studded cast including Murray Bartlett (The White Lotus Season 1), Christine Baranski (The Good Fight and Mamma Mia!), Henry Golding (A Simple Favour and Crazy Rich Asians) and Annie Murphy (Schitt’s Creek and Black Mirror), just to name a few.

Taking place in the new setting of the Austrian Alps, Season 2 promises even higher tension at steeper altitudes and gloriously unhinged chaos that’ll have you bingeing episodes back-to-back.

Lean into the woo woo by rolling out the yoga mat, dimming the lights, burning some sage (or at least a chic candle) and sipping kombucha for some serious escapism.

Whether you're here for the twists or luxury ski athleisure wear, Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2 is your next must-stream.

Rewatch or catch up on Season 1 now and stream Season 2 on Prime from Thursday 22 May.
