Sydney, gone are the days where you’d have to fly your Nimbus 2000 down the M31 and into our nation's capital to get your fix of the wizarding world. In news bigger than the US election (oh yes), Sydney's very first Harry Potter store has officially opened.
If you’re a true Potterhead, you’ll already know that this store has been a place more buzzing than Zonko’s Joke Shop in Canberra for a while now, however—good news—your long commute to Quizzic Alley is over.
Just in time for Christmas, Quizzic Alley opened its mysterious doors in December, taking over an old 1920s Bank of NSW building in Drummoyne—and yes, it’s reminiscent of Gringotts Wizarding Bank in a big way.
You’ll be able to spend your galleons on Harry Potter books, Hogwarts house uniforms, an actual Sorting Hat, collectable figurines, pop vinyl, wands, jewellery, perfect replicas of the Golden Snitch, Harry Potter’s glasses, and the Marauders Map.
Quizzic Alley Sydney is located at 191 Victoria Road, Drummoyne. For more info, head over here.
