Amp yourself up for an unforgettable time as Roku Gin hosts an exclusive botanical celebration to launch their Roku Gin Sakura Bloom Edition.
Set in the stunning Botanic House, this event offers a one-of-a-kind experience, blending Japanese-inspired feeds with exquisite floral fragrances, all in the heart of Sydney.
A Sensory Journey Like No Other
On Thursday 26 September, Roku Gin is taking over Botanic House for a botanical affair that will absolutely throw your senses into a whirlwind. You can choose to join in on all the fun during lunch at 12:30pm or dinner at 6:30pm—either way, you’ll start your feasting at the Palm House with a welcome cocktail—a signature Roku Sakura Bloom G&T—while you soak in the breathtaking floral installation by Grandiflora's Saskia Havekes. The air will be filled with the light, refreshing scent of sakura, setting the stage for one hell of a magical celebration.
The celebration continues with a bespoke three-course Japanese-inspired menu, crafted by none other than the legend himself, chef Luke Nguyen. Centred around the concept of shun—the sensibility of enjoying ingredients at their peak, each course will pair classic Japanese flavours with seasonal spring produce. Known for his vibrant South-East Asian cuisine, Luke is set to throwdown his culinary mastery with each course mindfully paired with a Roku Gin cocktail—divine.
This event also gives you the chance to hear directly from the creators—Luke Nguyen (culinary director of Botanic House), Saskia Havekes (founder of Grandiflora), and James Buntin (House Of Suntory Brand Ambassador)—as they share their wealth of knowledge and inspo behind the menu, Roku Gin’s limited-edition release and the exclusive Sakura Bloom Edition fragrance in collaboration with Grandiflora.
An Unmissable Culinary And Fragrance Experience
Lowkey, this event is more than just a lunch and dinner vibe; it’s a mammoth exhibit of creativity and flavour and trust us when we say, you'll want to be there. From the notes of sakura petals in the limited-edition gin (stunning) to the carefully crafted menu, every detail is all about capturing that fresh, springtime vibe of Japan.
And as if you needed more convincing—you’ll also leave with a full-size bottle of the exclusive Roku x Grandiflora Sakura Bloom Edition Eau De Toilette fragrance (50ml, valued at $220)—a rare keepsake, with only a limited batch made *painted nail emoji*.
