Hailing from Bundjalung Country in Northern NSW,  Jalaan Slabb represents a handful of aspiring women surfboard shapers making noise in the world of waves right now. At only 16, she's already crafted boards for world champs like Tyler Wright.

With her First Nations heritage deeply connected to Country that takes in iconic wave-rich locations such as Byron Bay, The Tweed Coast, and the Gold Coast, Jalaan’s aim when crafting her surfboards is to connect with people to create something unique and personal. She believes a connection to nature and its natural energy flows through each board she creates.

"I shape my surfboards by watching people surf," Jalaan explains. "Reading the connection that they have with the ocean."

Now, ROXY has partnered with Jalaan as part of their "Making Waves and Moving Mountains" mission to champion amazing women in surfing. To celebrate Jalaan's story, ROXY is giving four lucky winners the chance to win one of Jalaan's incredible surfboards
