Sydney’s New Year’s Eve fireworks are firmly on the global radar, revered as some of the most spectacular when the clock strikes 12. And after what feels like a lifetime of restrictions, lock-outs and lockdowns, we can finally all come together to celebrate and collectively slam our 2021 chapter shut—so why not go out with a beautiful bang, right?!
If you and your crew are already loosely throwing out ideas and pencilling plans but, like us, haven’t yet cemented them, we’re here to tell you that the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney is the place to soak up the fireworks and celebrate this New Year’s Eve in Sydney.
One of Sydney’s most stunning places to roll out a rug, the Royal Botanic Garden is playing host to a number of ticketed events this year—six in total—ranging from budget to boujee, BYO to fully catered. Plus, the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney is a not-for-profit organisation, so all funds raised from the NYE events go to supporting horticultural and scientific work that the Royal Botanic Gardens & Domain Trust deliver.
