Sydney Streets Have Our Saturday Plans Sorted: The Full 2026 Lineup Of Events
The Aussie sun has come out to play and Sydney is sweeping off some of our biggest city streets to bring colour, music, and alfresco dining to the social scene. The Sydney Streets events are one-day pop-ups during select Saturdays throughout 2026, where local neighbourhood roads will be closed for driving and opened for heavy mingling, casual taste-testing, and plenty of vibrant entertainment.
With market stalls and street shops bursting with local businesses and goods, start prepping with friends, family and your favourite shopaholic by picking which of these events in Sydney/Eora most suited to your palate–all with free entry.
Redfern Street, Redfern
Saturday 7 March, 2026

A beloved community spot already, Redfern is bringing more family fun from 11am all the way until 10pm for Sydney Streets. Immerse in that Aussie feel with music artists displaying their iconic works to admire, an abundance of outdoor activities (to keep the kids off the screens), and even some pop-up bars for that alfresco drinking with a side of cool breeze.
Stanley Street, Darlinghurst
Saturday 21 March, 2026
For their Darlinghurst date, Sydney Streets is catering to the youngsters who like to party with back-to-back DJs pumping groovy beats throughout the day and into the night, all the way ‘til 10pm. Pair this with more outdoor dining and pop-up bars for that energy refresher, along with colourful performers for that extra bit of novelty, and you’ve got your whole Saturday out with friends sorted.
Harris Street, Pyrmont
Saturday 28 March, 2026

Think kids dancing around to live music and keeping themselves busy with activities that get them moving, all while you kick back and enjoy your plate of pasta and glass of wine outdoors. Pyrmont’s Sydney Streets event promises this, with a side of extra entertainment and fun, starting at 11am and finishing up at 8pm–leaving plenty of time for an early night stroll along Pyrmont Bay, to admire those Sydney lights.
