PSA: The Electronic Duo Behind Love Tonight Are Taking Their Party To Hotels Across Australia
If Love Tonight has ever had you abandoning your dignity on a dance floor, this one’s for you. Electronic duo Shouse is heading to the east coast this October, bringing their high-energy live show to W Hotels in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane across one very big weekend.
W PRESENTS Local Sessions kicks off at W Melbourne’s WET Deck on Friday 9 October, before heading to W Sydney’s 29/30 Rooftop on Saturday 10 October and finishing with the biggest party of the weekend at W Brisbane’s open-air SUN Deck on Sunday 11 October.
Doing something it’s never done before, W Hotels is bringing its love of music to life in a series of seriously euphoric celebrations of music, movement and good times. Think big electronic sets brought to life with live saxophones, vocalists and a live choir, alongside a line-up of some of Australia’s best established and emerging DJs. It’s part dancefloor, part live spectacle and part love letter to the country’s electronic music scene—giving W’s community a new way to experience some of the genre’s biggest names. Oh and did we mention there will be special beverage deals?
The kicker? Tickets start at just $15, which is less than what you’d fork out for two coffees.

What’s All The Hype About Shouse?

Melbourne collaborators Ed Service and Jack Madin, aka Shouse, shot to international fame in 2021 when Love Tonight became a viral sensation, with remixes from the likes of Vintage Culture, Oliver Huntemann and David Guetta helping propel the single into the global charts.
Since then, Shouse has built a reputation for immersive live shows that blend synthesizers, drum machines and choir-like crowd singalongs. In a nutshell: Shouse know how to get a dance floor pumping.
The duo’s debut studio album, Collective Ecstasy, is a celebration of that same communal energy, featuring major collaborations with Vance Joy, Cub Sport and Habits. Now, they're bringing their get-up-and-dance sound to hotels across Australia.
Where To Find The Party
Forget sticky nightclub floors. Shouse is taking over W Hotels’ most social spaces across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. First up is W Melbourne’s WET Deck, where the hotel’s poolside space, complete with mirrored ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows framing the city skyline, is set to transform into a moody dance floor for the evening.
The following night, the party moves to W Sydney's 29/30 rooftop bar, a two-level experience above Darling Harbour. Enjoy the evening with cabana-lined views and cocktails in hand as the skyline lights up overhead.
Then it’s Brisbane’s turn, with W Brisbane hosting the biggest event of the weekend on its open-air SUN Deck. With room for more than 600 people and the Brisbane River as its backdrop, expect an afternoon-into-evening party featuring Shouse alongside a line-up of local DJs and emerging artists.
