If a bottomless dumpling feast on a koala rooftop at sunset sounds like something you’d absolutely be into right now—listen up.
In partnership with the dumpling experts at New Shanghai, WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo is celebrating Lunar New Year and the Year of the Ox with all-you-can-eat dumplings at twilight and after-hours access to the zoo.
WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo’s super sweet Koala Rooftop will be transformed into an actual foodie haven for the entire Lunar New Year period, which means, while those fuzzy-eared koalas are munching on eucalyptus, you’ll be filling up on all the delicious morsels you can imagine. We’re talking prawn and pork wontons, chicken and celery, as well as a huge line-up of vegetarian dumplings and xiao long bao.
Before and after your epic twilight dumpling session with the koalas, you’ll be in for exclusive after-hours access to the zoo so brace yourself for all the extra adorable kangaroo joeys, wombats, platypus, and even saltwater crocodiles.
If koalas are a bit too cute for you, this year WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo is also offering the opp to snap up all the dumplings you can handle on the Upper Croc Deck with a view of Rocky—the resident 365kg crocodile.
Tickets are $80 per person and include endless dumplings, bottomless booze (bubbles, red or white wine, and beer), a pre-dinner self-guided tour of the zoo, and after-hours access until the zoo closes at 9pm.
