The Verdict

A slice of Greek paradise has snuck its way into Sydney, thanks to 1821.

The buzzing CBD restaurant was designed and built in Greece then shipped to Australia to create a godlike haven for every foodie out.

The decadent menu showcases classic Greek food and all your Mediterranean favourites with a modern twist (think melt-in-your-mouth Moussaka and seafood saganaki) but don’t go home without ordering a plate (or two) of the buttery Lobster Pasta.

A high-end vodka bar in the basement is set to open later this year but until then the drink list dominated by Ouzo will keep you occupied.
