The Verdict
Woollahra's iconic Light Brigade Hotel has just opened its doors to your next Friday night hangout. Inspired by his travels to Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia and San Sebastian, Head Chef Justin Schott his own take on classic Spanish pintxos and tapas menus. And since snacks are our favourite thing, we're clearly paying attention to this one. With dishes like braised beef bocadillo and snapper carpaccio, plus a wine and cocktail list to match, you'll be in for a good night at this one.
If your inner hipster isn’t already excited, the place has recently been redecorated by Sydney-based artists Nadia Hernandez and Brett Chan. With striking bold murals covering the walls and beautifully presented food, this Art Deco joint would make the perfect addition to your Instagram story. Open from 5.30pm till late, this vibrant scene is a great place to catch up over casual drinks and did we mention it’s vegan-friendly? Because it is.
