The verdict
Feel like you've entered your very own (polish) lounge room when you head to at Alchemy Café Restaurant on Crown Street. The warm and friendly vibes will have you feeling like you've found your long lost Polish family and all they want to do is to feed your hangry European alter ego. Don't hold back here—the menu falls far from short of things to eat. Grab the homemade golabki or goose to feel like a native, but if your not game enough to try, then the fried potato pancake is an a crowd pleaser that doesn’t make you venture far out of your comfort zone.
On the drinks front, there’s an ample selection of imported vodkas and beers to choose from, but our must sip tip is the iconic Zywiec beer that may as well be the Poland’s national mascot. Don't just limit yourself to lunch or dinner, because they breakfast, supper and snacks are available ‘round the clock—even when it comes to the alcohol. What do you expect? They're Polish after all.
