Self-described as a sake bar, Ante is a sophisticated spot that serves up vinyl tunes as smooth as the rice wine on the menu.
The list includes 65 sake from 21 different makers across Japan (as well as alternatives and low-alcohol options), with a seasonally changing menu designed to complement the sips on offer. While the scale of the menu befits a bar, each dish is impressive and innovative; think snapper crudo with cumquat kosho and shiso, tagliatelle with fermented mushrooms, and kuromitsu custard with aged mirin.
