Industrial spacious vibes meet all the home comforts—Anvil Cafe & Grocer provides the goods. The fit out is everything we love, with hanging plants, a minimalist colour scheme and modern accents all ‘round. Slot yourself into one of their comfortable lounges, sit back and smell the coffee people, this just became your weekend chill spot.
    
For anyone (let’s face it, everyone) looking for trendy eats to ‘gram, head to Crows Nest for an epic brunch. This one is right near the Pacific Highway (therefore, easy access) and sits in the middle of tonnes of back streets (i.e. perfect for parking), and this little gem offers food, coffee, treats and even a wholefood grocer.

The menu is filled with adventurous breakfast and lunch options like their dukkha poached eggs with yoghurt, mint, pomegranate aril and toast, plus a few old classics scattered throughout the menu. The slow cooked pork burger is definitely what the doctor ordered for hungover Sunday feels—take it from us. 

If all this food talk is making you thirsty, they’ve got cold-pressed juices, kombucha and milkshakes are available to satisfy any need. Anvil also roasts their own beans, so firstly, you know the coffee is great but even better, you can take a bag home with you. They’ll also throw in a gluten-free doughnut by Nútie Donut because everyone knows coffee is better with something sweet.
