The Verdict

Sophisticated and elegant, Aristotles in Neutral Bay is date night goals. This Sydney restaurant is dishing up subtle flavours paired with clever cocktails, both of which are guaranteed to take your dining game up a tasty notch or two.

Everything here is made from scratch, which is evident from the moment you start working your way through the menu. Now let’s be honest, whilst you’ll be wanting to try pretty much everything on the menu, the reason we’re all here is the perfectly puffed haloumi. This dish comes steaming hot to your table, with an oven mit for safety, and obvious visual effect. The fluffiest haloumi you’ll find this (potentially both) side of the bridge, it’s paired with pomegranate and balsamic and finished with honey, oregano and walnuts.

The drinks menu is as much of a must try as the food; with Greek twists on classic cocktails like the fiery Greek margarita with Centinela Blacno Tequila, Cointreau, pineapple, hellfire bitters, lime and pink salt or the playboy negroni with Chatham Island Black Robin Rare Gin, Casoni 1814, Lillet Rose, and pink grapefruit bitters.

Make sure you leave room for dessert because the classic loukomades are nothing short of some of the best you’ll find in Sydney. Yep, we went there.
