The legend behind Tokyo Bird and Osaka Trading Co., has brought Sydney something extra special. Banchō Bar, is the latest venture from Jason Ang, located in the lane behind Quay Street in Haymarket.
This small 100-seat bar is set to showcase a myriad of cultures within the cocktails. Not only focusing on Japanese whisky, you’ll see a focus on Taiwanese, Australian and extremely rare 35-year-old Hibiki from Suntory.
In regards to the menu, these guys are hitting us up with next level bar snacks like panko-crumbed skewers of meat and veggies. If you’re more of a nibbler, we suggest you hit up a plate of the crackling pork because it’s absolutely drool-worthy.
