Banh mi oh my, a DIY banh mi store has opened its doors in Burwood and if you’re the kind of person who loves a little bit of everything on your roll, this one’s for you. 

Banh Meats & Co let you mix and match every single one of their drool-worthy additions to build the banh roll of your dreams (there are even banh mi burgers). Seriously, there’s no menu here, so you can just pick whatever goodies that are calling your hungry little name. Whether you fancy some Viet-style poutine (yep, apparently it’s a thing), or you’re more of a soft-shell crab kinda person, then you’re in luck, because they do that here too. You can even skip the roll altogether and order the fries topped with smoked beef brisket or just grab an entire cup of crispy pork crackling.

And because there’s always room for dessert, especially when a cake shake is involved, you can get a cake blended into a milkshake and we’re suddenly wondering how we never thought of this.
