The Verdict

Nestled on the sunny corner of Pyrmont’s bustling Harris Street, Bar Zini is a cosy café by day and a relaxed Italian restaurant and bar by night. Its ever-changing menu is based on seasonal, biodynamic, high-quality and locally-sourced ingredients. 

It almost appears to be a hole-in-the-wall with outdoor seating and takeaway pastries. Inside, however is a hassle-free little oasis where you can sit up at the bar and watch the talented chefs prep your meal. 

We’re calling it, this may be one of the best bacon and egg rolls in Sydney, topped with sriracha mayo, cavolo nero & provolone. For lunch, get around one of their epic sambos or fresh, tasty salads. Dinner-wise, on Tuesday, these guys offer ‘pasta and pinot’ nights, and Wednesday calls for a ‘roast and vino’ evening. If a la carte is more your vibe, head to this joint on Thursday or Friday.
