The Verdict

Not just your average pub down the road, this Paddington pub-turned-restaurant is tempting locals with a bistro-style interior and brilliant food to match.

New Head Chef, Robert Te Whaiti, has created a menu that he describes as modern and seasonal, with a subtle French influence. You should start your meal with a cheeky share plate of Bellevue pickles or ham hock croquettes, then move onto the suckling pig or slow roasted lamb shoulder for mains, before hitting up the P.B.J dessert. This one is not just your average peanut butter and jelly sandwich, FYI.

Bellevue has a little something for everyone, with their dining room, classic public bar, modern cocktail lounge and a private events space.
