The Verdict

Sydney’s CBD is a fickle little beast and great restaurants are hard to find. Oh, they’re there, Hiding amongst the tall buildings and bustling business crowd but, if you don’t know where to look, it’s nearly impossible to avoid the tourist traps. Enter: us. Oh, hello, we’re here to recommend the delicious Sydney goods. 

That brings us to Bellucci. Inspired by the buzzing New York Italian food culture, this one’s sitting above Ryan’s Bar in the heart of the city. You may know the new Head Chef Teofilo Nobrega from famed Fratelli Paradiso and if you do, then you’ll also know his menu will be on point. Shock horror—it is. Filled with contemporary Italian fare, when you head here you’ll be feasting on everything from sourdough sandwiches to handmade pasta and pizza fresh from the woodfire oven.

As for the drinks, we recommend you sip your way through the cocktail list that combines fan favourites like house-made sodas, limoncello, Campari, and prosecco. But if you want to really go all out (we know you do), then head here between 3pm and 5pm for aperitivo because snacks and spritz are always a good idea.
