The Verdict
Just when you thought you couldn't fit anything else on your Sydney bucket list, Barangaroo goes and opens another must visit restaurant. Brought to you by the Lotus Dining Group (think Lotus, Madame Shanghai and Papa Bo Min), Bing's Bao & Beer is a trendy, retro-style eatery that guarantees good times.
Bing's is one of the more casual restaurants within Barangaroo, serving its own brand of pale ales (in collaboration with Brookevale brewery Nomad) along with speciality baos and noodle bowls. What's our must-eat, we hear you ask? The soft shell crab with sriracha mayo and the caramelised pork with chilli, obvs. We'll also be slurping the noodle bowls too, with our top pick being the red braised beef shin with chilli and Chinese spices.
For drinks, you'll be all over the bubble tea and bottled cocktails (once their license kicks in) and the only thing you need to know about dessert is that a coconut ice cream stuffed bao is on the menu. 'Nuff said.
