The verdict
Inspired by the eclectic energy of Greenwich Village in the 1960s, Black Toast is a cafe located in one of Annandale’s converted 19th Century furniture factories. Complete with exposed beams, bricks and rustic wood furniture, this is where you need to head for a wholesome breakfast in the Inner West.
They’ve rounded up some of Sydney’s fave suppliers, with beans by Campos, sourdough by Sonoma and teas by T2. This culminates in delish dishes like beetroot crepes (with ricotta, fresh plum, blueberry, jam and berries), rainbow salads (which are as pretty as they sound) and barramundi fish cakes served with a minty cucumber salad.
Stay tuned for their soon to open event space by heading over to their website.
