Blackwood Bondi

From the same team behind Cronulla icon Blackwood Pantry—Blackwood Bondi is the sultry sunset sister venue, with weekend aperitivo and a live music program on Sundays, alongside the cafe's staple all-day breakfast and lunch menus. 

Due to open its doors in March 2022, Blackwood Bondi will have a similar bright and seasonal menu as its Shire counterpart, borrowing hallmark favourites like the "Schnitty Schnitty Bang Bang", nourish bowls, and much-loved miso avo. Co-owner and executive chef Rob Lechowicz has also thrown in a few new ideas too, like Moreton Bay bug sandos, prawn poke bowls, and Green Goddess salad. 

At aperitivo time (on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays), you'll be able to pair your sundowner drinks (Negronis, spirtz, or a house margarta) with snacks like chargrilled split prawns and pecorino-crumbed cotoletta.

Cocktails get a serious tick of approval at Blackwood Bondi thanks to a little help from Maybe Sammy’s Vince Lombardo. Think sriracha-spiced Bloody Mary's and a "Breakfast Club" yuzu martini. We cannot wait to try the croissant martini, made with almond croissant-soaked vodka, Mr Black and espresso. Ahem—wow!

Blackwood Bondi is slated to open March 2022.
