The Verdict
Maurice Terzini has done it again. Bondi get keen for summer because Bondi Beach Public Bar has arrived and you better believe you’ll be heading here for a spritz every weekend. This pub is (like The Dolphin) a post-mix free zone, so every cocktail is fresh AF, plus the wine list, created by sommelier James Hird, is damn good.
Picture this: BBPB is a 300-seater, one-room, low-key family venue decorated with a modern black, white and grey interior and the bar located smack bang in the centre of it all.
You’ll be chowing down on Australian pub classics with an Italian flair—we’re talking about their signature double squish cheeseburgers, Caprese salads and a killer pappardelle Bolognese. We know, we want one of errrything.
