The Verdict
ICYMI, the coffee legends behind Brewtown Newtown have come to Crown Street and yes, this is important okay. You may know this one as Gnome Café (which was always owned by Brewtown FYI) but now they’re officially part of the family and you’ve just found your new local.
This outpost is a homey, rustic-style café, coffee roastery and bakery all rolled into one, so basically, it’s your one-stop shop for every craving you have throughout your day. Whether it’s your morning coffee, a bite to eat, or those 3pm sweet cravings, they’ve got yo’ back.
Brewtown’s coffee beans are sourced from South America and roasted in-house every day, so they definitely know a thing or two about making a good coffee. Pairing your coffee with a pastry from the cabinet is a no-brainer (we recommend the O.G. Brewnut) no matter what time of day it is.
But if you just want to eat nothing but breakfast all day, every day, this place has the goods. We have three words: all day breakfast. Choose anything from avo on toast or an eggs Benny bagel to something a bit more lunch-like, like the tomato, basil and mozzarella meatballs.
Bonus: there is allllllways a crew of cute puppies outside. ‘Nuff said.
