The rule of life is that all good things come in threes. So it should come as no surprise that the announcement of Butter’s third store is a trifecta even Destiny’s Child can’t top.
While the famed fried chicken meets hard-to-find-sneakers shop has well and truly won over hype beasts and Sydney’s hungriest souls in the east and west, its next venture is taking a leap over the great harbour divide.
Opening its doors in Chatswood Chase just before Christmas, northies can now get their mitts on all the fried chicken goodness without crossing the bridge. While you can expect all the usual Butter antics here (it being sneakerhead heaven and sporting the finest fried feeds around), the Chatswood outpost is turning things up a notch in more ways than one.
Firstly, Butter’s Chatswood venue will be their signature consignment and retail store, stocking rare sneakers and a curated range of local and international fashion brands like Pleasures, Chinatown Market, Raised By Wolves, Rip N Rpr, Smile + Wave, Medicom, and Carrots By Anwar. Along with this, you’ll also catch a suite of Butter merch. Unlike Butter’s former venues, you’ll also find a full bar sporting all the cocktail varieties and of course, Butter’s baller lineup of champagnes and Hennessey.
As for the menu, it’s a delicious expansion of the Surry Hills and Parramatta offerings with juicy BBQ chicken (lathered in red-spiced pepper rub and salting), new salad combos, and an even bigger beef burger line-up.
Butter Chatswood is slated to open from Monday 21 December.
