It’s not every day you come past a coffee shop that quite literally lights up your life. By George Coffee is a brand-new Croydon Park cafe filled with great coffee, great bagels, and so many sweet treats you’ll think you’ve walked into Willy Wonka’s chocolate room. So let’s get into the good stuff.

Should you want to treat yourself to a morning studded with tasty feeds, By George stocks a seemingly endless supply of breakfast options. First up on your radar should be the famed "scrumpets"—seriously delicious sourdough crumpets (*chef’s kiss*). These come in two different flavours, including Hundreds And Thousands and PB&J.

Alongside scrumpets, you’ll also find sweet goods like Lotus Biscoff muffins with hefty Biscoff toppings, fudge cookies like Nutella or salted caramel, and incredible brownie sandwiches which occasionally get pumped with Snickers or Biscoff fillings.

For the hungrier folk out there, By George also whips up some mean breakfast sandwiches like an eggs benedict scrumpet situation (with poached eggs, hollandaise sauce, and baby spinach) and a fittingly named "The Clooney", which is a stack of sourdough, smashed avocado, and mint.

As for By George's bagels, it’s classic cream cheese schmear halo sprinkled with chives, which will only set you back $8 a pop. There’s also a stellar Reuben bagel to dig into, and a hefty schnitty bagel loaded with chicken schnitzel, coleslaw, and By George’s own signature chilli mayo.
