The Verdict
Sydney is packed with over-the-top eats so we’re drawing your attention to our city’s latest nostalgic and next-level indulgence. Sydney, meet Cafe Free.
This Neutral Bay foodie destination is home to every next level gluten and lactose-free feed you need to know about—because Cafe Free’s menu is 100 per cent gluten and dairy-free. Owner Zoe Doyle has spent years (and years) perfecting her recipes, and the proof is in the whopping list of unlikely favourites. Think: creamy carbonara, waffles, fish and chips, dairy-free loaded shakes, fried chicken sliders and their famous meatball sub sandwich, decked out with beef meatballs and smothered in Napoli sauce and cheese.
Cafe Free churns out a rotating menu, dreamy specials and exclusive dinners too. And the real spotlight right now hits hard on the cafe’s brand new loaded hot chocolates.
For a limited time, Cafe Free is whipping up warm concoctions flavoured as chocolate eclairs, bounty, cookie dough and banana split. These babies also get topped with chewy marshmallows, cream and a stack of drool-worthy extras like toasted coconut cookies and sprinkles.
