Bringing a southern Californian and Mexican vibe to Redfern is the men’s barbershop, Chicano’s. As soon as you step into the shop, you definitely won’t feel like you’re in Redfern anymore, as they offer a different type of vibe that sets it apart from any other barbershop in Sydney.
Here they specialise in cut throats, razor fades, cuts and beard trims for very reasonable prices... They also offer a free neck shave! The guys who own Chicano’s also own a few other barbershops around town including Jack the Clipper in Newtown, Balmain Barbershop in Balmain and Bourke St Barbers in Surry Hills.
