Luke Mangan’s chicken burger restaurant, Chicken Confidential, just had a baby and it’s hanging out at Sydney Airport’s T1 International. Yeah, this is as good as you think.  

The eatery is perfect if you’re on the hunt for something to eat before your flight because we all know how good plane food can be (uhhh maybe not). With a menu featuring all the classics, your chicken dreams have just been answered. Chicken Confidential has a couple of new dishes, like the Gangnam style Korean crispy fried organic chicken burger, which involves cheese, pickled vegetables, herbs and kimchi mayo plus that crispy AF chicken we mentioned earlier. 

There are even a few options for the token vegetarian. Think loads of healthy salads and a Portobello mushroom burger with melty mozzarella, caramelised onion, tomato, crisp lettuce and raita. Once you’re done smashing a burger, turn your attention to the dessert menu, or specifically, make the tough decision between an ice-cream sandwich, sundae, soft serve or one of their deliciously thick milkshakes.

FYI this bad boy sits juuuuust in front of customs in the casual dining precinct. So you can head here regardless of whether you’re saying farewells or you’re off on a cheeky trip yourself.
