The verdict
As the name suggests, this Surry Hills Korean-fusion restaurant unsurprisingly has a focus on chicken. From “damn good” Korean fried chicken to steamed buns to a burger, you can get your chicken fix at Chicken Institute. However, if you want to venture beyond the bird, the grilled BBQ meats wrapped in lettuce leaves are top notch as is the kimchi poutine.
House made fizzy sodas also grace the menu as well as a few unique desserts (gold fish ice cream waffle, anyone?). The unique blend of Korean and North American cuisine in this little Sydney restaurant is bound to keep you coming back for more.
