Cibaria at Manly Pacific Hotel is a modern, beachfront Italian eatery from Sydney restaurateurs Alessandro and Anna Pavoni, the duo behind a’Mare, Ormeggio at the Spit, Chiosco, and Postino Osteria

This multi-level venue, inspired by the typical Italian piazza, is open every day of the week with dedicated kitchens including a spaghetteria, bisteccheria, friggitoria, and more.

The main restaurant space, the trattoria, is open from 11.30am to late, serving a mouthwatering antipasteria selection, wood-grilled dishes, homemade pasta, a raw bar, and more.

Standouts include gorgonzola served tableside with caramelised walnuts and honey, Aquna Murray Cod with Rio Vista lemon oil, and squid ink spaghetti with crab meat and spicy crumble. If it’s too hard to choose, the set menu provides Cibaria’s favourite dishes for $110pp.

The gelateria, from Ormeggio chef Victor Moya, serves up authentic gelato including cremino bianco (white chocolate gelato with roasted coconut), plus weekly–changing specials like burro bruciatto (burnt butter gelato with coffee cookies and caramelised peanuts).

The caffetteria menu is available daily from 8am to 4pm, offering takeaway and sit-down dining with a prime ocean view. It’s perfect for families to enjoy casual eats like paninis, signature pizzettes, and creamy thickshakes.

55 North, the attached lounge-style bar features regular DJs, an aperitivo hour, and hospo Sundays. Snacks like cacio e pepe fritters, a cheese plate, and Nutella bombolone are ideal pairings with a beachside drink.

Sip on specialty Italian cocktails including the flavourful Paloma Italiano with Espolon Reposado, Campari, agave, aranciata, and grapefruit juice, or a refreshing Skyy vodka with limoncello, lemon juice, and basil.

The terrazze, Cibaria’s impressive events space on level two, overlooks the ocean and Manly Beach, featuring an outdoor balcony with lounge seating and a private bar to catch the sunset.

Designed by Luchetti Krelle, the space features textured walls, earthy terracotta tones, and arches for an inviting and lively communal space. Open kitchens dotted throughout also allow diners to watch Italian cuisine come to life—when they’re not watching the shimmering water outside, that is.

Bookings can be made online.
