Continental Deli

The Verdict

When the guys from Porteno and Bodega open a deli together, you stand up straight and get ready to run. This deli and restaurant in Newtown features a range of hype-worthy sandwiches (cue Brickfields swooning), over ten types of olive oil (just because), and plenty of tinned fish that you'll actually be excited to eat.

They'll be so good in fact that they're serving them at the bar, along with those sangas and a range of cold cuts. Beyond the usual charcuterie you'll find coarsely-ground liverwurst (again, don't knock it until you've tried it), and of course, plenty of cheeses. Finish with a glass of wine and sit back in wonder as to how you managed to nibble down those anchovies so fast.
