The Verdict
From the folk that brought us Pizza Mario comes Da Mario, one of our favourite pizzerias in Sydney. Headed up by chef Franco Bortignon, the menu featured a selection of entrees, salads and mains, as well as pastas, calzones and of course, its famed Naples-style hand-made pizza. You can’t go past the salame calzone, loaded with ricotta, buffalo mozzarella, salame, black pepper and tomato, or the Marinara Con Tonno topped with preserved tuna and Spanish onion. This loud, bustling restaurant is frequently packed to the brim, which is no wonder as it’s serving up some of the best pizzas in Sydney!
