The Verdict

Devon Cafe has just hoppped over The Bridge to North Sydney and you know you’re already planning your visit here. You’ll know these guys from their raging success in both Surry Hills and Barangaroo, and before you ask, they’re bringing a couple of their signature dishes with them.

Cult favourite croissant st denis is making an appearance and in case you’re not familiar, it’s a ghetto-style omelette (their words, not ours) filled with lobster meat, bisque beurre blanc sauce, caviar, and fine herbs. Basically, it’s just extra AF. Executive Chef Zachary Tan has even added a dinner menu chocked full of his Asian-fusion flair. Think 12-hour beef short ribs braised in sweet soy glaze, bumbu, crispy eschallots, and coconut mignonette.

Finish the night off with a kakigori dressed with shaved ice, matcha syrup, soft serve, sweet red beans, house-made dango and houjicha cream. You didn’t think they’d start going easy on you with this venue, did you? Of course you didn’t.

Light timbers and pops of green have set the scene for warm ambience whether you’re in for a silky smooth coffee fix or some experimental cuisine you won’t leave you disappointed.
