The Verdict

Tucked away in the backstreets of Marrickville, you’ll find District. Serving their coffee (by Golden Cobra) strong and smooth (just the way we like it), it’s the perfect place to seat yourself and stay any (or every) day of the week.

Whether you want breakfast, brunch or lunch, you’re in good hands. The breakfast menu focuses on classics done right (think bacon and rolls, omelettes and home made beans) and lunch is all about the sanga. From the earth sanga (with baba ganoush, capsicum, pumpkin, rosti, cabbage and roast cashews) to the black caramel ham sanga (with Dijon mayo, pickles, cheddar and smokey BBQ glaze), you have to try each one at least once (if not twice).

With hopes to become a late night trading venue, put this on your list of one’s to watch.
