We’ve definitely stumbled across a weiner here (excuse the bad pun). Dogma is the gourmet hot dog joint in Cronulla that locals are seriously obsessed with (and so are we).
Gone are the days of your average sausage, mustard and bun combo, here you’ll find nothing less than high quality, locally sourced and sustainable ingredients to bring a new found love for an old favourite.
And where else can you find cocktails and hot dogs in the one spot? Ex Aria chef Brendan Hill is leading the kitchen with preservative and gluten-free sausages and the menu is something of a shrine to the hot dog Gods.
Hot dogs aside for now, you can also get your hands on draught beers, wines, cocktails (guys, there’s a Toblerone colada) award-winning coffee, cold-pressed juices, salads and house-made desserts.
And these hot dogs that everyone is going crazy over? Take a seat, seriously. The dog’s breakfast is a standout for those who can’t part ways with the ultimate classic with a Bratwurst sausage, free range egg, bacon and their signature tomato relish. But if you’re feeling a tad more adventurous, the French bulldog with Toulouse sausage and truffle aioli or the katsu dog with bonito flakes and wasabi mayo is bloody life changing.
