THE VERDICT
An elegant dining space within a grand Rococo style building, Embers Mezze Bar is located in the heart of Darlinghurst and serves up tasty and contemporary Lebanese cuisine, together with an exotic middle-eastern influence. Bringing to life a truly unique and traditional shared dining experience, Embers is inspired by the authentic flavour combinations of middle-eastern culture and emphasises the rich textures of mezze.
Start with some marinated olives, as well as the hommus with Afghani and sesame bread, which will seriously melt into your mouth. Then dive into the scorched ocean trout with spiced tahini and fennel and wash it down with their selection of wines, or just treat yo’self with a cocktail (or three). We suggest the Mediterranean Magic, made with tangy Absolut pears, 43 liquors, fresh pears, sweet sugar syrup and topped with a dash of lime and apple juice.
Embers is friendly, welcoming and with a romantic atmosphere that makes this Sydney restaurant the perfect dinner spot.
