The Verdict

Located at the entrance to Chinatown's Dixon Street, Emperor's Garden Cakes and Bakery has been open since the 1970s and is a testament to old and new Chinese treats. From traditional steamed char siu pork buns to Chinese riffs on "Western" desserts like tiramisu cakes, the bakery easily stands out from franchised Asian bakery fare.
